He seems to have no problem filling up venues. He’s started to make his way onto the Radar and is definitely on the Radar of those who enjoy the acoustic singer songwriter genre. This was the first time I had gotten to hear the newer stuff performed live. His cd had just dropped a few days before hand, but I imagine he’s been performing it for a while. I do have to say, it has some great songs on it which translated great live, a favorite of mine during the show being “When a Heart Breaks.” In reality he only performed a few of the newer songs. But if you think about it he has 3 full cd’s and one EP he takes from when he makes his set list. But I’m not going to lie, I would have liked to have heard a couple more new numbers. In the end it was a really good show, not to mention hilarious because Dave is just a funny guy and cant help from making the jokes between and sometimes during songs.
