Concert Reviews & Photos Fall Out Boy @ Nokia theatre 4/17/09 Review Tonight, Grand Prairies Nokia Theatre hosted the "Believers Never Die, Part Duex" tour which brought Hey Monday, All Time Low, Cobra Starship, 50 Cent (yes, the rapper) and Fall Out Boy all to one stage. The bizarre (yet somehow good in-the-end) lineup nearly packed the venue and what seemed like every tween girl in the Dallas area definitely looked like they were enjoying the evening.

Following opening sets by Hey Monday which featured some on-stage assistance by Pete Wentz, and All Time Low (who had about 10 bra's thrown at them as they took the stage); New Yorks Cobra Starship began what was easily the most energetic set of the night. Vocalist Gabe Saporta certainly brought the awesomeness as he danced around on stage and had the entire venue singing along. The set also included guest vocals when local radio personality J-Si of the Kidd Kraddick Morning Show joined the Cobras to rap during "Kiss My Sass".

When 50 Cent took the stage, you could have easily thought for a second that you were at a Jonas Brothers concert. The tween-screams were deafening and Fiddy (im pretty sure thats how the cool people refer to him) delivered a great show that kept the energy going strong.

At promptly 9:30pm, the lights went down and amidst multiple red siren-style lights on stage, a video montage of multiple riot scenes and the Fall Out Boy band members was shown on LED screens surrounding the drum riser. As the band emerged, the entire venue erupted. The guys delivered a power-packed set full of hits and newer tracks from their Folie a Duex album. Friday night Fall Out Boy absolutely demonstrated why they are consistently able to pack venues across the world. With spot-on vocals and excellent sound; the energetic performance topped off the evening perfectly, leaving fans gasping for air..literally.. I actually saw paramedics tending to a girl that was trying to catch her breath. Ok maybe she had gotten hurt or something.. but the show sounds so much better when it literally takes someone's breath away.

JC from Kidd Kraddick lent a helping hand during Cobra Starship’s set. Energetic band All Time Low did their best to get the crowd warmed up. 2008 2007 2006 2009 2010
