Waiting for “Superman” in theaters friday About the Film Davis Guggenheim the director that brought us “An Inconvenient Truth” gives us an indepth look into Americas failing education system. The film “Waiting for “Superman”” follows 5 students who’s parents have put them into the lottery for local charter schools, which have a better rate of success and teachers who are the cream of the crop. It also gives some insight on what authorities like Washington D.C.’s, chancellor of Public Schools, Michelle Rhee are doing to try and make changes to the system and make it work for the kids who are there to learn.
